sunset

Wednesday, Jericho tried to organize a surprise trip. All I needed to ask was what to wear. As soon as he said swim wear, I knew we were going snorkeling. We went on a boat tour in Key Largo, one of all the islands making up the Florida Keys archipelago in Southern Florida. After half an hour, we stopped at one of the reefs and spent two hours snorkeling. We got to see some big, beautiful fishes and several huge conchs. Because of Isaac, the hurricane, the water was somewhat cloudy, and we didn't have an underwater camera with us so we couldn't take any pictures. After snorkeling, we went to a bar/restaurant by the water. We decided to hang around until sunset, and I am lucky we did. The view was amazing. We took our desert out on the dock and watched the sun set, creating a beatiful, colorful sky. What is more relaxing? We talked about the future, about hopes and dreams. About life, what really matters, what makes us happy, what it is all about.
And in that exact moment, it was as if nothing else existed.
